While in Venice, we spent our second day riding bikes in and around the city. One of my favorite spots we stopped was the Ilan Dei studio on Abbot-Kinnety Street. Ilan is a furniture and interior designer and this space is so so cool. It’s an “outdoor” space, so there is tons of lovely light and the textures and colors are beautiful. The frame of the building is made out of shipping containers and the ceiling is coroplast. It’s pretty amazing what one can do with simple pieces. If you’re ever in the area, be sure check it out!
Can I hire this guy to come design my future home?
