In an effort to make sure we were always doing something fun on Jonathan’s days off, we spent a lot of time hiking this summer. Plus, we were gearing up to move to Florida, where the hiking options include mostly sandy beaches – am I right? 😉
So here we are, hiking around what was once considered the 4th tallest waterfall in the United States. Well, whomever measured it was surely mistaken as it’s only 410 feet tall – not even making the top ten. However, it’s still HUGE! When you reach the top, there is this fenced in area where you can stand and safely look out. Scary! Jonathan was brave a took a dip in the river at the top. I only went in to my knees. We sat on a rock and ate lunch before heading back down. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
If you visit in the winter, there are apparently millions of ladybugs hanging out.
