where are we?

Here’s a list of the places we’ve been so far (and maybe a stop or two in the future) and a map to use as a visual.
We’ll add destinations as we go. Keep in mind that the map is not entirely accurate, as we’re sometimes avoiding interstates to explore the back roads of America.

  • monika - You’re right. The back roads of Kentucky were really fun. It’s beautiful, but I definitely felt like I was in the South. Particularly when we went to get gas and everyone looked at us funny as we were driving in. Come to find out, they all knew each other!August 29, 2011 – 3:15 pmReplyCancel

  • Frank Howes - Mission TX and S Padre Island are some places that we visit sometimes in the winter. There are many beautiful birding spots along the river. Even if you don’t enjoy birds the natural areas are worth a visit.

  • Harold & Sylvia Mohr - Enjoying your travels and sites that you have been to. We have traveled a lot of the places you have visited and have enjoyed the many sites. I am a very good friend of your dad’s when we lived in Takoma Park. I was with him when we ran out of fuel in the plane we were flying, what a scare for both of us! And with the Lord’s providence provided just the right for us to land in just barely large enough without crashing into a housing development. Have lots of fun as you travel along.November 6, 2012 – 11:57 amReplyCancel
